Post preview questions

Why should I preview my post before publishing?
Each platform truncates captions differently — Instagram cuts off at 125 characters, LinkedIn at 220, Facebook at 250, TikTok at 100. Previewing lets you ensure your key message is visible without the viewer needing to tap 'see more'.
Which platforms does the post preview support?
Postlia's post preview supports Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Bluesky, and TikTok. Each preview mirrors how text appears in that platform's feed.
Is the preview 100% accurate?
The preview closely mirrors how each platform renders text, including truncation points and line breaks. Minor rendering differences may exist due to platform-specific fonts and spacing.
Can I upload an image to preview?
Yes — for Instagram you can upload an image to see it in the post card preview. More platform image previews are coming soon.
Does this tool post to social media?
No — this is a preview-only tool. To actually post, you can use Postlia to write once and publish to all platforms simultaneously.
Why does Instagram show 'more' after 125 characters?
Instagram limits visible caption text to approximately 125 characters in the feed. Users must tap 'more' to see the rest. Always put your hook or key message in the first line.
What is Bluesky's character limit?
Bluesky allows up to 300 characters per post, slightly more than X's 280. Our preview shows exactly where your post will be cut off.
What is TikTok's caption character limit?
TikTok limits captions to 150 characters total (including hashtags). Only about 100 characters show in the feed before 'more' — keep your key message in the first line.
