How long can a YouTube title be?
YouTube allows up to 100 characters, but search results and suggested-video feeds truncate titles around 70 characters. Keep the part that earns the click — your hook and main keyword — inside the first 70.
What does 'front-loading' a keyword mean?
Putting your focus keyword near the start of the title — ideally within the first 40 characters. Viewers scan the beginning of titles, and the start of the title carries the most weight for YouTube search and recommendations.

Why is ALL CAPS flagged?
All-caps titles read as spam to viewers and can suppress click-through. Capitalizing one emphasis word is fine — the check only fails when every letter in the title is uppercase.
How is the 0–100 score calculated?
Each check carries a weight — length is the biggest at 25 points, then keyword placement and capitalization at 15, down to numbers, emoji, and brackets at 10. A pass earns full weight, a warning earns half, a fail earns nothing, and the total is scaled to 100.
